This is a personal blog for me to write about anything and everything I feel like! My interests are drama, literature, TV, film, music and rave culture amongst over things, so expect lots of posts related to these. I also just find certain random things interesting: whether I have seen something online, heard about it in the news, or even just been chatting with friends, these thoughts and ideas may make appearances in the blog.Using this site
My ten most recent posts will always be displayed on the front page. To view older posts, open the "Archive" tab on the navigation bar.
The web version of this site should look the same as the desktop version (except vertical and a bit squashed) but if you prefer to use the desktop version on your mobile device, click the link at the bottom of the page.
Posts
Posts on this site will be tagged using square brackets at the start of the title to sort them into categories. Below is a description of each of the categories:
- [MICRO] signifies posts that are under 500 characters long (slightly longer than a tweet). This will be used for short posts like small life or website updates.
- [LIFE] signifies longer life updates, or a story I feel like is interesting to share.
- [REVIEW] is for reviews of media, whether its a TV show, Film, Book or anything else. These posts will also have a sub-category i.e. "[REVIEW/TV]".
- [ESSAY] tag is for essays and mini essays about anything and everything. These will normally have a sub-category too to signify the generally topic.
- [CW] is for creative writing. These could be scripts, short stories or even poetry. This tag will also have sub-categories to signify the form i.e. "[CW/SCREENPLAY]".
- No tag just means that the post doesn't fit into the above categories.
If I edit a post after publishing, I will write the date last edited at the top of the page.
Who is "stef"?
I'm writing under the name "stef" rather than my real name just because I feel that it will allow me more creative freedom, as I won't be worrying about people finding my site and making assumptions about me based on it. I feel that it will also allow me to be more personal, as it isn't linked directly to me. Depending on the types of posts I end up writing, I may eventually put my real name as the author of posts, but for now I will simply be "stef".
