Dramapaedia

Welcome to my new project, the Dramapaedia! If things are looking a little rough around here it's because it's a work in progress, come back soon!

The plan for this new section of my site is to write up some notes I made in the past about different acting styles, but this time do some further research. I'll then use the "power of the web" to link important information together.

My vision is not only to create an index of knowledge on the subject of acting, but to present somewhat of a practical guide for those that wish to learn themselves. Whilst I will primarily be focussing on the topic of acting, I hope to expand to performance art as a whole in future.

The current priority is to upload information for Stanislavskian (Naturalist) and Brechtian (Non-naturalist) theatre techniques and practices. I hope to write in a way that is simple and straightforward to understand. Whilst I will be using scholarly sources for my research, I won't write like an academic. I'll try my best to keep it simple, but still convey all the information I can.

Below are lists of pages uploaded. Happy reading!
